Sinca Veche

Last Sunday we started our little journey to Sinca Veche, to see the Rupestral Church. It's been a while since we last went on a small and peaceful trip like this, those were the days..but they're finally back !

Zarnesti is only one of the cities around here which have Sunday customs. Inhabitants ride horses around the town wearing traditional Romanian costumes.
Children are, of course, very excited to see animals, as shown in this paparazzo pic I snapped from the car:

When we got to Sinca Veche, a guy in the parking place saw me with the camera and said 'Do you want to take pictures of something nice?' Turns out he had a bunch of Saint Bernard puppies in his van :)

Sinca Veche is really a place where you feel that time stands still. We personally had a top-down approach of this religious site. The entrance at the bottom is the one closer to the cave.

The following picture is from the cave, this is all you'll see for now  - you have to go and check it out yourselves !
